Ecuador Team

We will be visiting our friends in El Recreo near the port city of Guayaquil and on the coast in San Vicente. We will be working on a home build in San Vicente, evangelistic outreach, home visits, and working with the over 500 kids they have in their programs. In El Recreo we will be serving an additional 500 children and their families doing home visits to share the Gospel and bring much needed staple food items. We will be involved in light construction on their new education facilities as well. The people of Ecuador are warm, inviting, and full of life. if you have a sponsored child at either El Recreo or San Vicente you will have the opportunity to meet them.

If you choose to sponsor a child in this country you will have the opportunity to meet and spend time with your child--truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Physically Vigorous
This trip will likely contain mostly unpaved, very uneven/hilly terrain, lots of walking and some heavy lifting. Rarely comfortable climate, sometimes hot or cold, probably no A/C. Most of the following conditions–uncertainty, odd schedules, emotional stress, long or difficult travel days, culture shock, language barrier, jet lag, uncomfortable accommodations, unfamiliar food. Not recommended for those with serious health conditions (including pregnancy).
