Kenya Dental Micro Team

With over one million people living in small tin shanties, Mathare Valley is one of the most populated slums in the world. For over 20 years now, we have partnered with Missions of Hope to bring hope to those who call this slum home. Join this team of dental professionals and be willing to use your skill set to share the love of Christ through your work in Kenya this summer! You’ll serve in our two dental clinics in Nairobi, and also travel up north working with the Turkana tribe. Your African journey will end with an incredible two-day safari in the Masai Mara/Serengeti plains.

Physically Vigorous
This trip will likely contain mostly unpaved, very uneven/hilly terrain, lots of walking and some heavy lifting. Rarely comfortable climate, sometimes hot or cold, probably no A/C. Most of the following conditions–uncertainty, odd schedules, emotional stress, long or difficult travel days, culture shock, language barrier, jet lag, uncomfortable accommodations, unfamiliar food. Not recommended for those with serious health conditions (including pregnancy).
