Philippines Medical Micro Team

Join us in making a difference in the Philippines! Eastside will partner with TASA Cup of Hope who is caring for the abandoned street children of Manila by feeding, providing basic medical care, dental care, and education assistance to the street children in Manila, Philippines. Many of these children are victims of abuse by their own parents or guardians, are victims of human trafficking and left to beg for money on the street. Our team will partner with local healthcare workers to provide essential medical services. We are also partnering with a local church to evangelize to a village that desperately needs to hear the gospel where we will host a medical clinic. Medical professsionals join us to use your skills to make a difference! Your week will end by visiting some of the renowned beaches and enjoying this tropical country. This mission trip is not just about what we can give, but about experiencing the heart of God for the poor and broken. This trip will likely contain mostly unpaved, very uneven/hilly terrain, lots of walking and some heavy lifting. Rarely comfortable climate, sometimes hot or cold, probably no A/C. Most of the following conditions–uncertainty, odd schedules, emotional stress, long or difficult travel days, culture shock, language barrier, jet lag, uncomfortable accommodations, unfamiliar food. Not recommended for those with serious health conditions (including pregnancy).
