Come with Eastside on a life-changing Global Compassion trip to Thailand! We'll serve alongside Joni and Nangsar Morse, our global partners who have been in ministry there for over three generations serving hundreds of thousands! You and the team will make a meaningful impact on local communities while experiencing the beauty of this incredible country.
Start by working with 200 children from Ching Dao and nearby villages at a two-day Christian camp, where you’ll share the love of Jesus through activities, games, and teaching. Your time with these children will leave a lasting impression, helping them grow in faith and confidence.
Next, journey to the remote Pai Plateau where you’ll help pipe in clean drinking water, improving health and well-being for hundreds of families across miles of land. Alongside this vital work, you’ll also participate in an agricultural project of planting mangoes to support sustainable farming and provide long-term food security for the community. These mangoes have transformed the local churches economy and way of life over the past years.
You also have the opportunity to participate in hosting a conference especially designed for pastors wives and other women involved in ministry from the local villages.
There will also be opportunities to visit Chiang Mai, shop in the famous Night Bazaar, see the culture, view historic Buddhist temples, and more.
This trip combines service, adventure, and spiritual growth, offering a unique way to make a difference while building lasting memories. Join us as we serve in the name of Jesus, bringing hope and practical help to those in need while experiencing the best of Thailand.
If you choose to sponsor a child in this country you will have the opportunity to meet and spend time with your child--truly a once in a lifetime experience!
This trip is physically moderate, and will likely contain mostly unpaved, uneven/hilly terrain, or lots of walking/stairs and/or medium lifting. Sometimes comfortable climate, maybe no A/C. Probably 3-4 of the following conditions–uncertainty, odd schedules, emotional stress, long or difficult travel days, culture shock, language barrier, jet lag, uncomfortable accommodations, unfamiliar food.
BEFORE YOU APPLY, check out this short information video for requirements and our team agreement. Click "Apply Now" to create an account for this web platform that manages everything about this trip, and fill out your application! Prices are subject to change based on airfare rates.
