Love is God's Language

I stepped way out of my comfort zone going on this trip. I knew no Spanish, but Saturday I found myself sitting in a pick-up truck with Josue, the driver, and Ricardo and Jenny, two adorable kids from the orphanage. They spoke ittle English.

. That did not matter to God.

Our two pickups loaded with kids and adventurous Eastsiders were taking bundles of rice, and beans to folks in the impoverished community around Cuidad del Refugio. When rhe gifts were offered, we asked to pray for each family. I saw folks praying in Spanish and folks praying in English. And I saw them working together in spite if the language barrier.

Smiles are the same in any language. So is God's love.
