This trip to Refugio was amazing! I had always wanted to participate, I let my fears go and prayed that God would lead me. From the moment you arrive your are welcomed with smiles and a great staff. Being able to work on building homes and classroom was so gratifying the staff and volunteers are amazing, they guide you and teach you. I felt so comfortable that I couldn’t wait to work the next day. I learned so much with out being judge or feeling pressured. Being here is so heart warming to see all the kids and staff. The smiles on their faces brings so much joy and happiness. I loved every moment of meeting so many wonderful people from different campuses. Seeing so much love and hard work & dedication from all is so heartfelt. It was an experience that everyone needs to be apart of. God has blessed me and I’m definitely coming back next year.
