Dear Family & Friends,
I wanted to share some exciting news with you. Our church, Eastside Christian Church, has planned a global experience and I have been selected to serve as part of this team! I will be traveling to Kenya Africa in October of 2026 with other Seniors that will also travel where we will have the opportunity to serve in where we will work along side our local partners in Kenya Africa
I have just returned from a mission trip to Ecuador with Eastside/Anaheim. I went not knowing what to except. I knew we would be installing a children's play ground at a children's center and offering a medical clinic in Guayaquil, Ecuador. (El Recreo) Well family and friends the mission trip to Ecuador was amazing. I felt the presence of GOD within all the seniors that also came on the mission trip with me, Pastors from different churches in Ecuador and all the loving children that I was able to share JESUS CHRIST with. I was able to experience the joy, smiles and appreciation that I was able to share with all that surround me the love of JESUS CHRIST. Here I am again, seeking for a little more, its Kenya Africa. The presence of GOD is all over the world and I rejoice from it.
I feel a strong desire to be a part of traveling to Kenya Africa in October of 2026 with other Seniors on this project because I have always had the desire to continue to be part of Mission Trips. I have been select to participate in this mission trip to Kenya Ecuador. I have that opportunity to participate where The Lord is calling me to serve and tell everyone about JESUS and his goodness. I feel blessed to have been chosen for this incredible opportunity and know there is a lot of work ahead as we begin to prepare.
I could use your help! First, I would be honored if you would pray for us...for our preparation, our journey, our ministry and for the spiritual battles surely ahead.
Secondly, I’d like to know if you could help cover part of the cost of the trip. Each team member has been entrusted with raising an equal share of the total cost to send us. The amount I personally must raise is $4,900 by September 26th, 2026. Contributions to our project are tax deductible, charitable gifts, and Eastside will send a statement for tax purposes at the end of the year.
